Tony Khan delivered an amazing Full Gear pay-per-view this weekend. It had a stacked lineup of superstars that were featured in some mind-blowing matches. However, following the event, Khan delivered a heartbreaking update about a major name, revealing that he will have to be out for a while. As per the AEW President, Kyle Fletcher suffered a major injury at Full Gear pay-per-view. The Protostar defended his TNT Championship against Mark Briscoe in a ‘No-Disqualification Match’. While Fletcher delivered an incredible performance, he failed to retain his title, and Briscoe became the new champion for the company. During the AEW Full Gear Post Show Media Scrum, Tony Khan praised the match between Briscoe and Fletcher. However, he revealed that The Protostar would be forced to be out of action for a while due to an undisclosed injury. Khan added that it is a blow to the former TNT Champion, as he was excited to compete in the Continental Classics this year. “Kyle O’Reilly will probably be out of action and it’s unfortunate because Kyle did want to wrestle in the Continental Classic he was really excited about it.
