DAVIS, Calif. (AP) — Niko Rocak’s 17 points helped UC Davis secure a 75-72 victory over UC Irvine on Saturday.
Rocak also contributed six rebounds and five assists for the Aggies, who improved to 11-7 overall and 4-3 in the Big West Conference. Carl Daughtery Jr. added 14 points, shooting an efficient 5-for-7 from the field, including 3-for-4 from beyond the arc. Omer Suljanovic chipped in with 12 points on 4-of-8 shooting.
For UC Irvine, Jurian Dixon led the team with 16 points, while Jovan Jester Jr. added 12 points. Harrison Carrington contributed 11 points as the Anteaters fell to 12-7 overall and 5-2 in conference play.
