Monday Night Football Week 7 Doubleheader: Buccaneers vs. Lions Preview and Watch Guide
Week 7 of the 2025 NFL season wraps up tonight with an exciting Monday Night Football doubleheader. The first game features the NFC South-leading Tampa Bay Buccaneers heading north to take on the Detroit Lions.
Buccaneers vs. Lions Game Preview
The Buccaneers (5-1) enter this matchup riding a two-week winning streak despite battling a string of injuries. Their offense has looked different from week to week, but quarterback Baker Mayfield has been a standout. Mayfield is currently the only quarterback with more than 10 passing touchdowns and just one interception this season.
Tonight, Tampa Bay’s offense will face a Detroit defense that has allowed 13 passing touchdowns so far this year. The Lions (4-2) were handed their second loss of the season last week, falling 30-17 to the Kansas City Chiefs. That game marked the first time since Week 1 that Detroit scored fewer than 30 points.
